1.1VessRAID1000fSeries

a. Thestoragesystemshallbeaunifiedstorageplatformthatiscapableofhanding

file‐basednetworkattachedstorage(NAS)andblock‐basedstorageareanetwork(SAN)

storageinasinglebox.

b. ThestoragesystemshallprovideFiberChannelSAN,iSCSISAN,andNASconnectivity.

c. Thestoragesystemshallbeastandard19”3Urackmountchassiswith16diskdrives

support(3.5”).

d. ThestoragesystemshallallowamixeduseofSAS/SATA(6Gb/sor3Gb/s)diskdrives

withinthesamechassis.

e. Thestoragesystemshallprovide2portsofFiberChannel8Gbpsand2portsofGigabit

EthernetsupportforsecuritydevicesaccessincludingDVRs,NVRs,orVMSserversto

expansionthatallowsusertogrowvideocapacityasneeded.
